FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Does the dub really sound like me?

That's the whole point. OmniDub creates a voice model from a sample of your speech and uses it to speak the translation, aiming to keep your tone, emotion and pacing. Quality depends on your recording, and you can always review and adjust before publishing.

Do I have to give permission before my voice is cloned?

Yes, always. We only create a voice model when the speaker has explicitly agreed. If a video contains other speakers, each of them needs to consent too. You can read the full rules on our Ethics page.

Is dubbed audio labelled as AI?

Yes. Every dubbed video carries a clear AI-audio label so your audience knows what they're hearing. We think honesty builds trust, and it's increasingly the rule on major platforms.

Which languages can you dub into?

See the full list on our Languages page. Some are live today and others are marked as coming soon. If you need a language that isn't listed, tell us when you request a demo.

Can I edit the translation?

Yes. Before you export, you can review each language and adjust lines, names and terms so the dub says exactly what you mean.

Who owns my voice and my videos?

You do. Your voice model is used only to dub your content, and your videos remain yours. You can ask us to delete your voice model and your files at any time.

What kinds of videos work best?

Clear speech with little background noise works best: YouTube videos, Reels and Shorts, courses, webinars, ads and corporate content. Tell us about your video when you request a demo and we'll give you honest advice.

How do I get started?

Request a demo dub. Send us a short clip, tell us the languages you want, and we'll show you how it sounds, in your voice, before you commit to anything.

Say it once.

Send us a short clip and we'll show you how it sounds in another language, in your voice.
